Petrozavodsk and Finland to be connected by rail

New international railway route will pilot on December 28 to connect Russian Petrozavodsk and Finnish Joensuu.

Rather an experiment than a regular journey is scheduled to New-Year holidays from the heart of Karelia. If the route proves to be a success, a regular connection will be established.
