3,9 billions to Meråker Line and Trønder Line

(Adressa.no 2.4.2013)

The Norwegian Minister of Transport and Communications Marit Arnstad gave positive news about the electrification of the railway tracks in Norway, the Meråker and Trönder Lines.

Investigations have shown that a joint renovation of the two railway tracks north of Trondheim, the Meråker and Trönder Line, entails significant cost rationalisation.

But so far, the proposals have not been taken to the National Transport Plan (NTP).

Now the comment form the Minister gives hope for the future.
