Establishing possibilities for a goods delivery center in Port of Kaskinen

The port of Kaskinen has also estimated the possibilities of establishment of a goods delivery center to the port (part of act. 3.7.).
The port is an important export port in Finland for sawn wood, wood products, pulp and the biggest import
port of raw timber in the country. The port of Kaskinen handles around 300 ships a year and fullfills international and national regulations governing the security of ships and ports serving the ships. Port of Kaskinen has four port operators, each specialized on different operations.

Port of Kaskinen offers solutions meeting the logistics market´s special shipping and transportation needs and requirements. The port can handle quadruple volume growth without additional investment needs and it has TEN-T status as a part of the East-West transport corridor.
Also eg. the location and warehousing capacities speak for the fact that the consequences for establishment are good, certain boundary conditions can strenghten the future.
